Turning Duplexing Unit on for POPUP printer objects in labs

  • Go to Start > choose "Printers and Faxes"
  • Right click on the Popup printer object for the lab > Choose Properties
  • Then click the "Device Settings" tab
  • Next scroll down to the bottom of the device setting and look for the "Duplex Unit" section
  • Change the "Duplex Unit" to "Installed"
  • Click OK
  • Then have the user go back to their document to print
  • Choose the Office button, like usual, and choose Print
  • Then click the Properties button
  • Next choose the radio button beside, "Flip on Both Sides"
  • Click OK > then Print

Now the user should be charged the double-sided printing charges of $.06 for the double-sided page, rather than $.04 for each single-sided page
