IT Services Student Employee Workshops
IT-Services offers FREE workshops to all student employees. You must register for the workshops by sending e-mail to the Laboratory Coordinator. Space is limited, sign up early.NOTE: The deadline to sign up for any workshop is 48 HOURS before that workshop. Requests received after the deadline will only be accepted if there is adequate space. A workshop may be cancelled if less than 5 people sign up. If a workshop is cancelled, registrants will be notified by e-mail at least 24 hours in advance. Workshops start and end on time, so please be prompt. If you cannot attend a workshop for which you are registered, please send e-mail to the Laboratory Coordinators, Veronica Norville and Stacey Collins
If you do not see a workshop that you would like to register for, please see the student Element-K courses. Element-K is an intranet liveplay and download facility. The system was designed to provide a simple interface for browsing, taking a course on-line, and downloading Element-K training courseware over the UNCG's campus network. There are currently 300 courses to choose from. Element-K has been designed to allow students to locate Element-K Systems courses easily using their web browsers, such as Netscape or Internet Explorer. Students may take the courses on-line.
